Flat sacks offer you these advantages
The flat bags are made of a soft material that is flexible and therefore offers good protection in the packaging industry. LDPE is a naturally transparent material and can be produced in various sizes and material thicknesses. Our flat sacks from WPTrading are available in many different sizes, with widths between 480 and 1250 mm and lengths between 800 and 1500 mm. In addition to the transparent version, we also offer a grey-coloured version. Choose between the different thicknesses 50, 100, 150, 160 or 200 my, depending on the item to be dispatched . All flat bags are absolutely food-safe and recyclable. This means you are also making a contribution to environmental protection. The flat bags can also be sealed in different ways: by welding, gluing or using rubber rings.
Positive material properties of LDPE
Due to its many positive properties, LDPE (low-density polyethylene) has become an indispensable material in the packaging industry. Its low density means that it is particularly light and therefore saves on shipping costs. The material is not only considerably lighter than glass packaging, but also than some types of plastic. Due to its soft and flexible nature, it adapts better to the materials to be packaged than more rigid materials.
Another advantage is its temperature resistance, as it can withstand all temperatures between -40 °C and 95 °C without any problems. Thanks to its transparency, you can always recognise at first glance what is inside the flat bags made of LDPE. LDPE is also resistant to a wide range of aggressive substances such as acids, bases and alcohols. Other groups of substances for which it is suitable are aldehydes, ketones and vegetable oils.
This means that LDPE flat bags are used in a wide variety of industries, such as the pharmaceutical and food industries, as well as in the chemical and cosmetics sectors. The flat bags provide you with a cost-effective and lightweight packaging option.
